Yes I have been bad and not posted anything in quite a bit, life was crazy when I got home and then I got sent right out to the gulf of mexico for another rig trip. I was hoping to be home quickly but they keep wanting to hold me hostage oh well I guess I am getting paid huh.

Well another fun filled day , apparently the stack is being pulled back up due to an issue, so a few more days. I am hoping to get back by this weekend so I can see all of the family coming into town to see my mom (mom has cancer and it may have spread )

So I finally got around to adding a gallery of sorts. Now to add pics galore, it took me a little while, it was not too hard once I figured out: Galleries hold pictures (duh!) and Albums hold Galleries and can hold other Albums. Finally got new software so now the customer is happy. Downloaded my meter and insulin pump this morning, things are looking much better. Hoping I can go home soon and see Nancy. and have real internet.

So I finally arrive onboard the rig yesterday, check in with the medic, give them all my medical paperwork in regards to my diabetes and demonstrate to the medic that I know to use my insulin pump. And still management on the rig is freaking out saying I’m a liability, omgz people trust me if I am not well I will be the first to speak up

So things calm down a little and I can stay till I get my work done or the next available helicopter, geez I tell you.

Moral of the story: just cause your diabetic don’t let yourself get pushed around, be confident in your abilities otherwise people won’t let you do stuff.
